WORKARMA INDEX

The benchmark for workplace well-being that acually moves.

The Workarma Index scores US employers across five evidence-based factors — continuously updated so you always know who's doing right by their people. Not once a year. Now.

61%
of US workers are currenly languishing at work
10x
more likely to flourish in high-autonomy, high-support environments
$500B+
lost to poor workplace well-being in US productivity annually

Evidence-based

Built on the U.S. Surgeon General's federal well-being framework and peer-reviewed research.

Continuously updated

Not an annual survey. Data flows in weekly — scores move when workplaces do.

Five-factor breakdown

A total score plus five subscores (0–20 each). Employers know exactly where to invest.

Independent

No pay-to-play. Scores are derived from data — never from who's paying.

WHAT IS THE WORKARMA INDEX?

A score that tells you the truth about working somewhere.

Most employer ratings give you a number. The Workarma Index gives you a picture — five specific dimensions of workplace well-being, each scored out of 20, aggregating to a total out of 100.

It's grounded in the U.S. Surgeon General's 2022 Framework for Workplace Mental Health & Well-Being and is continuously refreshed with data from multiple sources, so it reflects where a company is now, not twelve months ago.

61%

Most workers aren't thriving

A 2026 national study of 2,000 US workers found nearly two-thirds are languishing — burnout, disengagement, and intention to quit all rising.

10x

Environment beats demographics

Workers in high-autonomy, high-support environments are ten times more likely to flourish. The workplace matters more than any individual trait.

2x

Ethics predicts flourishing

Employees who flourish are twice as likely to report strong ethical accountability at their employer. Culture is measurement, not aspiration.
